From a Los Angeles net to the Ivy League.

Lauryn plays middle blocker for the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines, wearing number 4. She has been named First Team All-Mission League twice, and in November 2025 the program won the CIF State Division I title, the top tier of California high school volleyball.

Eight years in the sport, most recently with Sunshine Volleyball Club in Los Angeles. She signed with the University of Pennsylvania, where she joins the women's volleyball roster as a first year student in number 40. Penn competes in the Ivy League and plays home matches at The Palestra in Philadelphia.

She also mentors younger recruits through NextTier Athletes, coaching them on coach communication, highlight reels, and official visits. She started her own recruiting process as a freshman, so she teaches it from memory rather than from theory.

Los Angeles built her. Philadelphia is next. Both cities are watching.

How NIL works in the Ivy League.

  • 02No athletic scholarship to conflict with, so there is nothing to jeopardize.
  • 03Deals above 600 dollars are disclosed to the clearinghouse. Routine paperwork.

The Ivy League opted out of the House v. NCAA settlement. Its schools do not provide revenue sharing, athletic scholarships, or direct NIL payments to student athletes.

Independent NIL agreements are permitted. Deals are negotiated directly between the athlete and the brand, without university involvement. Payments above 600 dollars are disclosed to the third party clearinghouse required under the settlement.
